Delaware sees record online gambling revenue for second consecutive month

US.- Delaware’s online gambling revenue reached $1.30m in August, up 37.2 per cent from $945,512 in the same month last year and $1.25m in July. That makes August the second month in a row to set a new record for revenue. the second set a new igaming revenue record for the second consecutive month.
Players spent $36.8m in August, up 69.6 per cent year-on-year, but down 6.6 per cent from $39.4m in July 2022. Online video lottery games generated $1m, with consumers having spent $21.8m. Internet table games generated $221,330 off $15m in bets, while poker rake and fee revenue reached $37,169.
Delaware Park was the leading operator in the igaming sector with $558,272 in revenue off $15.8m in bets. Bally’s Dover registered $412,044 from $12.1m and Harrington Raceway $326,657 from $98.9m in wagers.
Sports betting revenue reached $354,444, up 439.7 per cent from $65,678 in August last year but down 7.5 per cent from $383,249 in July. Players wagered $2.9m, down 40.8 per cent from $4.9m in the same month last year but up 7.4 per cent from $2.7m in July.
Delaware Park recorded $162,795 in revenue off a $1.4m handle. Bally’s Dover registered revenue of $101,243 from $837,814 in bets Harrington Raceway $54,472 from $448,645.
