Wyoming Lottery launches 2by2 daily draw game
The lottery hopes the new game will satisfy players as well as boost revenues for the state of Wyoming.
US.- The Wyoming Lottery has launched its latest game — 2by2 — which will be the first game in the state to have a drawer every day.
Lottery CEO Jon Clontz said in a press release last week: “We wanted to add a draw game that brings some variety to our portfolio, and 2by2 does just that. With its daily draws and easy way to play, we believe it’s going to be a fan favorite for Wyoming.”
Clontz also explained that the game is appealing to players since it has favourable odds, explaining: “Over one in four tickets is a winner, so we’re going to see a lot more winners, and we’ll see them every day.”
The entity hopes the new game will attract further revenues, and satisfy the state’s players who have long requested a daily drawer.
“We want to be able to give back more to Wyoming, and expanding our portfolio is the best way we can do that,” Clontz added. “Since we launched, we have given more than $21 million directly to the State of Wyoming, and we are focused on giving back more.”
There are also talks of sports betting coming to the state, with a bill introduced to the house last month proposing a US$20k licence fee and a US$10k renewal fee for operators.
Meanwhile, Idaho’s state lottery has decided to end its participation in the Powerball game due to the game’s planned international expansion.
