Operator failed to integrate Spelpaus into its platform, preventing players from self-excluding.

Sweden.- L & L Europe, which operates the All British Casino and other popular brands, has been fined SEK600,000 (€54796 ) by the Swedish Regulator, Spelinspektionen.

According to the regulator, L & L Europe did not integrate Spelpaus, the Swedish self exclusion body, into its platform. The program is mandatory for all licensed Swedish operators.

Spelpaus is similar to GamStop in the UK, and allows Swedish players to self exclude from all regulated and licensed sites in the country.

The regulator claimed that this measure should specially be observed during the Coronavirus pandemic, as there is an increased risk of gamblers falling into addiction.
