Pachinko company presents IR plan
A pachinko company introduced its plans to build an integrated resort in Kitahiroshima.
Japan.- The Heiwa Corporation introduced its plan to build an integrated resort (IR) in Kitahiroshima, Japan. The manufacturer of pachinko machines wanted to build the IR upon the existing Sapporo Kitahiroshima Golf Club.
The plan introduced by the pachinko company detailed an IR at the Sapporo Kitahiroshima Golf Club, which is featured on a 2.8 million square meter site, and would feature an exhibition hall that can accommodate 5k people, as well as a five-star hotel with more than 2000 rooms. The facility would also include Asia’s largest land art museum, a theater and facilities for skiing and snowboarding, AGBrief reported.
Heiwa Corporation wants to create a consortium with an international operator and local local businesses with an initial US$2 billion investment. The plans presented by President of the company, Katsuya Minei to the mayor of Kitahiroshima city is also counting with the employing of 20k people.
