New casino to be developed in Primorye

K International Inc, a South Korean company, plans to build a new casino in the Russian gambling zone.

Russia.- The Primorye casino development area could soon host yet another casino project as South Korean company K International Inc is planning to build a venue in the area. The project would be built in a 20-hectare lot located in the gambling zone and would include a casino, a shopping centre with a Duty-Free zone and a walking area.

The company explained that it expects to complete the development of the design for the project over the next few weeks, before submitting it for approval by a work group headed by the Territorial Vice-Governor Andrei Larin.

The investments are set to have a total volume of €229.5 million and the Primorsky Krai Development Corporation has reiterated that they continue to search for investors for vacant areas of land.

Currently, Tigre de Cristal casino is the only fully operational casino in the Primorye gambling zone, while two other venues are under construction: the Naga Vladivostok and the Selena and Sun. Furthermore, Shambala is also expected to submit its own project soon and be among the first of at least 12 hotels with restaurants and casinos that, according to the government’s expectations, will be installed in the area.
