Nevada gaming revenue drops in November
Las Vegas Strip casinos saw their revenue drop for second consecutive month.
United States.- Figures released by Nevada regulators show that casino revenue on the Strip came in at USD 485.8M in November, down by 6% on the previous year.
According to the Nevada Gaming Control Board, statewide casinos brought in about $909.1 million last month, a figure that represents a 2.3% decrease compared to the same month in 2016.
Revenue at casinos in downtown Las Vegas was up by 6.9% to $54.3 million.
The state benefited with about $49.5 million in percentage fees based on the taxable revenues generated during the month. That’s a 11.1 drop compared to the same period in 2016.
