More US casinos hold jobs fairs to seek staff amid reopenings

Station Casinos will host hiring fairs at three of its properties in Las Vegas, while other states’ casinos are also holding recruitment events to increase staff.

US.- Casinos in the United States are seeing a rebound of activity following progress in the Covid-19 vaccination programme, which has allowed the reopening of venues at full capacity in most states.

Venues are creating more jobs positions and organising recruiting events in a bid to fill the positions.

Station Casinos will be holding three hiring fairs at properties in Las Vegas this week. The fairs will be held from 8am to 7pm, June 15-17 at Boulder Station, Red Rock Casino and Green Valley Ranch.

Recruiters will be providing on-the-spot job offers for roles at all Station properties. Departments looking to hire include food and beverage, housekeeping and casino operations.

Cage and table game positions will be part of the fairs, and auditions will take place during the interview process.

Michigan Four Winds casino also hiring

The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi’s Four Winds Casinos will be hiring for a number of table game positions at their South Bend location, as well as their three casinos in Michigan.

According to the company, it will offer a Dealer Training School, which begins Tuesday at Four Winds South Bend elsewhere in order to train specialised table game workers.

There will also be job fairs in Portage on Tuesday June 22 and in Michigan City on Wednesday June 23.
