Mississippi Lottery generates US$16M revenue
Exceeding everybody’s expectations, the Mississippi Lottery has generated over US$16 million in revenue over the two months it has been running.
US.- Many were reluctant to pass such a gaming bill, but the proposal ultimately succeeded. Then, the Mississippi Lottery went on to exceed everyone’s expectations with major revenue in two months.
Ever since it launched back on November 25, it posted over US$16 million, mostly through scratch games.
“We are very pleased with these early results,” Thomas Shaheen, president of the Mississippi Lottery Corporation said. “Retailer and player support have been fantastic in our collective efforts to raise money for roads, bridges and education needs for the state of Mississippi.”
New games
Earlier this month, the Mississippi Lottery Corporation (MLC) launched four new scratch-off games with major prize money.
Double Doubler: costs US$1 to play and can award up to US$4k. Odds are 1:4.93 and there are 24 grand prizes.
Payday: costs US$2 to play and may award up to US$25k. Odds are 1:4.59 and there are six grand prizes.
Cash Money: costs US$5 to play and can award up to US$100k. Odds are 1:3.96 and there are five grand prizes.
Diamond Dazzler: costs US$5 to play and may award up to US$100k. Odds are 1:3.98 and there are five grand prizes.
