Michigan sees record igaming figures for August
According to the Michigan Gaming Commission, igaming revenue surpassed previous figures.
US.- The Michigan Gaming Commission has reported the operators generated $113.1m in revenue from igaming and online sports betting in August.
Igaming brought in $97.2m, surpassing the previous high of $95.1m set in March. Online sports betting contributed $15.9m from a handle of $192.3m. Igaming brought $17.9m in tax revenue for the state while sports betting added another $541k.
Online sports betting and igaming launched in Michigan near the end of January. There are 14 approved operators in the state.
