US.- Long Beach Mayor George Bass was part of an event this week and discussed the Mississippi’s city’s plans. He said that Long Beach is currently negotiating a casino development with the company that could be in charge of the project.
Bass said during the “Breakfast With the Mayor” event that Long Beach has three big economic development projects in the works, WLOX reported. The city is negotiating a planned casino development with Gateway.
”It’s a fantastic looking building,” Bass said after seeing the conceptual drawings. “I told them we’ve got to have something that will match our harbour, our community, that’s going to be different from everyone else. We’re in discussion as a board wanting to renegotiate the contract with them. We have a contract with them,” he said.
