LeoVegas enters Danish market
Mobile gaming group has been granted a license to operate in the European country.
Denmark.- The operator LeoVegas will launch its dot.dk site in the autumn, after forming a local team with experience in the Danish market and digital marketing. LeoVegas’ strategy is to enter regulated markets or markets that are facing regulation.
Gustaf Hagman, CEO and co-founder of LeoVegas, said: “I am convinced that our market-leading mobile gaming product, data-driven marketing approach and a strong, local team will help ensure a successful launch in Denmark, where no one has yet taken the mobile position.”
By entering regulated markets, the company creates the right prospects for a successful launch and long-term growth. According to data from H2 Gaming Capital, the Danish online gambling market is worth €618 million in 2016.
The operator adds its name to the 27 operators licensed in the country and it’s currently present in Malta, the UK and Denmark.
