Isaac Haxton leaves PokerStars’ online team

The player announced his dissociation via Twitter.

US.- Isaac Haxton, one of the most prominent US-born poker players, announced his disassociation with PokerStars, the online poker giant, were Haxton performed as part of the team since 2012.

Haxton explained that the cause of his dissociation was a result of the company decision to slash the earned “VIP” benefits for the site’s most dedicated players, who have reached the site’s “Supernova” (SN) and “Supernova Elite” (SNE) that are now discontinued. He stated in his Twitter account ” I have resigned from PokerStars in protest of the changes to the Supernova and Supernova Elite programs,” adding a link to a related news a poker forum where he served as a moderator. There,  Haxton criticized the firm’s owner Amaya and their  decision.

Moreover, near  2,000 of the site’s players, have began their second sit-out protest and it is aimed at Stars and its corporate owner, Canada’s Amaya Group.  The player boycott is the second of four such protests designed by the site’s protesting players.
