(Exclusive interview).- Polina Nedyalkova, Business Development Manager for EGT Interactive discussed the company’s plans for ICE London 2020.
Just a few days away from ICE 2020, Polina Nedyalkova, Business Development Manager for EGT Interactive, talked with Focus Gaming News about the company goals. Entering a new year, she discussed the company’s proposal for the show and the industry itself.
EGT Interactive has been rewarded in 2019, and it also achieved new partnerships and entered new markets, which are the plans for 2020?
We are very proud that in 2019 we received two awards – Rising Star in Online Casino Technology – SEG award and Online Content Provider of the Year, a BEGE award. Those two highly appreciated recognitions are the result of the hard work and dedication of our growing team, quality products and development strategy.
We continue to keep the pace in 2020 with new partnerships, new releases and new markets.
During the last year, EGT Interactive went into partnership with strategic partners – some of the biggest operator groups in the industry and also medium to small operators, that are also not less important for us. Of course, we continue to keep the pace in 2020 with new partnerships, new releases and new markets such as Italy, Switzerland and some newly regulated markets in Central Europe with high potential for our games.
What is EGT Interactive expecting for ICE 2020? How will the event help to develop the 2020 goals?
Our presence at ICE 2020 is focused on the Egyptian theme. We launched two bright new Jackpot Systems – Scarab and Egypt Quest, that will be presented to our current and future partners at the expo. We expect a lot of interest and a great number of productive meetings.
EGT Interactive has reached a level, where we also contribute to the exhibition.
As you know, ICE is one of the biggest gaming shows. Of course, it is very important for us in terms of networking and presenting our games. But in our opinion, EGT Interactive has reached a level, where we also contribute to the exhibition, being attractive, innovative and simply trendsetters in the gaming industry.
How was the feedback about recent releases such as Vampire Night? What will the benefit of interacting with them in ICE?
The feedback is very positive. All of the interested parties are welcome to our stand S4-350 in London to try our new releases. Of course, we believe in the good performance of every game that we launch. They are an outcome of strict testing, quality design and respond to the market needs.
We are eager to see the reactions of the clients about our new products.
What are the main challenges for the iGaming industry this year? How will Brexit affect the company’s operations in the UK?
Speaking from the position of a content provider, one of the main challenges for the iGaming industry is the big competition. A lot of new providers, start-ups, etc. are trying to enter the industry, even operators develop their own games. The good news is that this stimulates us to put even more effort to be one of the top providers around the world.
One of the main challenges for the iGaming industry nowadays is the big competition.
The company still does not operate in the UK. Brexit will affect a lot of businesses. Still, most of them are not able to estimate the exact size of this impact. Respectively we are not in a position to comment.
How do you assess EGT Interactive’s 2019 performance?
There are a lot of indicators that could be used in order to assess the company’s performance. We will highlight a few of them, in order to answer the question.
First of all, the revenue of the company is growing rapidly and stably. Secondly, as we already mentioned, the company attracted a great deal of new clients, some of them leading European operators.
And last but not least, the highly motivated and dedicated people, working at the company, are a solid proof for our success.
