UK.- Nektan leading international B2B mobile gaming content developer and platform provide announced that David Gosen has stepped down as its chief executive and his resignation comes into effect from the end of January.
The firm informed that Gosen decided to resign from the board to explore new opportunities. “Gary Shaw, currently Executive Chairman of Nektan, will assume the role of interim Chief Executive Officer whilst the Board of Nektan undertakes a search for a permanent replacement. Gosen will be replaced by executive chairman Gary Shaw on an interim basis,” Nektan explained.
Shaw commented: “We would like to thank David for the progress the business has made in the last 12 months, and its continuing growth is testament to the solid building blocks the company established during his tenure.”
Furhtermore, Nektan has appointed non-executive director Jim Wilkinson -who is currently the chief financial officer at technology firm Oxford Sciences Innovation- as non-executive chairman.
The Group designs, builds and operates mobile games in the regulated, interactive real money gaming (“RMG”) and freemium gaming space, delivering original and innovative content to large commercial organisations that have established online audiences.
