US.- The Casino Marketing & Technology Conference and Host Player Development Conference will be held in Reno, Nevada, from July 18 to 20. The gaming event will offer visitors an opportunity to learn and network alongside casino marketers, host and PD professionals and gaming leaders.

The conference is designed to help both new and seasoned casino hosts and PD team members gain a competitive edge by covering topics such as player segments, building a book of business and the value of loyalty programmes.

The event will feature panel discussions and workshops. Topics covered will include artificial intelligence and machine learning in casino marketing, digital marketing strategies for casinos, mobile gaming and social media marketing, player data and slot analytics.

Visitors will have the opportunity to hear from speakers Mark Schaefer and Phil Satre, Hubspot’s Ryan McRae, who will provide insights on marketing trends, and local entrepreneur Matt Levitt, who will offer strategies for standing out in an oversaturated market. There will be PD Tour of casinos with Steve Browne on Thursday night.

The American Gaming Association (AGA) has released updates to the association’s Responsible Marketing Code for Sports Wagering (the Code), which sets the industry standard for responsibility in the marketing and advertising of sports betting.

AGA president and CEO Bill Miller stated: “Established in 2019, AGA’s Responsible Marketing Code reflects the commitment of our members to set and adhere to a high bar for responsible advertising. Today’s updates advance that commitment and represent our intention to protect consumers and evolve our standards as this nascent market matures.”
