Zambia will issue a measure to regulate casino operations
The government wants to introduce a new law that would regulate casino activity in the country.
Zambia.- The Ministry of Tourism and Arts along with the Ministry of Justice will soon issue the statutory instrument to regulate casino operations in the African country.
According to the Zambia News and Information Service (ZANIS), this new measure is aimed at maximising the benefits of casino business and at the same time minimising the negative effects, such as gambling addiction.
The Ministry is also working to boost the casino monitoring capacity in order to ensure that they’re operating according to the current law. The government’s goal is to come up with a National Gambling Board that goes in line with the best international markets.
