Umatilla Tribe expands its casino in Oregon
The native operators plan to amplify the building commodities and to add a hotel tower.
US.- The Mission’s Wildhorse Resort & Casino is adding a bowling alley and another hotel tower to its building. The Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Reservation commented that they also plan to renew the casino’s facilities.
The native operators hired an architectural and engineering firm to expand its complex in order to increase the tourism and gaming activity in Oregon. Throughout the following months, the Umatilla tribe will publish the sketches of the expansion of the casino and hotel in Mission city, but the plan is to double the size of the event space for 30,000 square feet in total and invest on new facilities.
“We need to think big and move forward. We’re at the center of the universe equal distance to Spokane, Seattle, Portland and Boise,” commented Justin Quaempts, member of Board of Trustees. Currently the Wildhorse casino includes 1,200 slot machines and several table games for roulette, poker, bingo, blackjack and keno.
