Stoiximan/Betano rebrands as Kaizen Gaming

The Greek gaming technology group that owns operators Stoiximan and Betano is to rebrand under the name Kaizen Gaming.

Greece.- The Athens-based company behind Stoiximan and Betano is rebranding as Kaizen Gaming, named after the Japanese business philosophy of continuous improvement.

The group, which is majority controlled by Greek betting giant OPAP, operates the Stoiximan brand in Greece and Cyprus and Betano in Germany, Portugal, Romania and Brazil.

Kaizen is a Japanese business philosophy involving continuous improvement of working practices and personal efficiency.

The group said it was adopting the new name to reflect its attitudes towards adopting cutting-edge technology, seeking innovation and efficiency and promoting corporate social responsibility throughout its entire organisation.

The rebranding comes seven years after Stoiximan’s founding and after OPAP increased its stake in the company. The newly named Kaizen together has 700 employees and 300,000 active users.

Co-founder and CEO, George Daskalakis, said: “This is a great time for us and our staff. We started in difficult times but with a strong foundation, we developed in the crisis, proving that we love challenges and we have reached where we are today as a group.

“The Kaizen name will unite and guide our course and mark our next steps following the path that brought us here: human resources, technology, entertainment, responsibility, international competitiveness, sporting commitments and offer.

“We employ young people, give them opportunities to evolve and offer talent that has moved abroad opportunities to return, in practice reversing the brain drain. We rely on that talent and passion. We invest in “made in Greece” innovation, and develop artificial intelligence programmes that can organise data quickly and accurately, freeing up our people’s time to do more quality and creative work.

“While we are developing in foreign markets, we remain in Greece. We are constantly improving, and learning at every moment. This is Kaizen.”
