September marks fourth best month for Maryland’s revenue

The state has achieved one of its best revenue marks during September activities.

US.- The Maryland Lottery and Gaming released the financial reports that detail activity in the state during September operations, a month where the state experienced its fourth-best performance, according to the new numbers.

The six casinos in the state totalled US$143.8 million in revenue, a 6.9% year-over-year rise. The results were once again led by MGM National Harbor, the latest casino to open in the state. The result represents a 10.3% year-over-year increase to US$54.4 million for the facility that has been topping the revenue lists almost every month since its December 2016 opening.

Live! Casino & Hotel also achieved impressive results, as it reported US$50.3 million in revenue in September, which represents a 7.1% year-over-year increase. On the other hand, Baltimore’s Horseshoe Casino continued a revenue decline strike and it reached US$20.7 million last month.
