Resorts World Las Vegas has seen a huge response to the 6,000 positions it advertised on LinkedIn late last year.
US.- Resorts World Las Vegas has received 85,000 job applications for the 6,000 jobs available at the upcoming casino resort.
Applicant swarmed to the Resorts World Website after executive Lori Calderon announced on LinkedIn that the venue would begin to issue invitations to job interviews, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
Calderon told local media: “We’re waking up at night sometimes and taking notes, I’m doing that myself. We’re identifying individuals every day who will be receiving offers. The time is now.
“It’s a large applicant pool, and we’re going to continue to communicate with applicants as much as we can. It’s a big job and we still have a lot of work to do.”
The Las Vegas casino industry has suffered a considerable downturn due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, with many job losses at casinos.
The new resort is expected to open in the summer, although a date is yet to be set.
