playMGM ramps up sports betting competition
The new sports betting app playMGM provides certain features that make it a fierce competitor for an already tough Nevada market.
US.- IGT and MGM Resorts International partnered up to develop a sports betting app that is set to shake up the Nevada market. playMGM is soon establish in the state as, last week, IGT’s PlaySpot mobile solution (the engine for the brand new app), received all required regulatory approvals.
MGM Resorts International Executive Director of Interactive Gaming Development Lovell Walker, commented on the release: “Our playMGM mobile sports betting app puts our Sports Books at our guests’ fingertips. We worked closely with IGT throughout the development process to appropriately leverage PlaySpot technology, ensuring that the app delivers an unrivaled guest experience.”

playMGM is available on the iOS and Android operating systems and provides several features such as in-play wagering, prop bets, parlay bets, futures bets and three special ones: digital deposit and withdrawal options; Trend Cloud (personalised home screen); Dynamic parlays (customisable wagering options). These three features are set to make the first MGM mobile sports betting product and IGT’s first participation on that US market something notable.
