Ohio studies DFS

The State’s senator Bill Coley affirmed that DFS is illegal in Ohio.

US.-The Ohio senator has proposed a new bill that will clarify the rules of Ohio in regards to electronic gaming as well as daily fantasy sports. DraftKings and FanDuel, leading providers of DFS, will face further evaluations to determine the gaming situation in the state.

The Senator announced that he will introduce new regulation to control the market and define Ohio’s position. Daily fantasy sports are highly acclaimed in the US, and this year several states have legalised the gaming offering.

Ohio does not count with a special entity to regulate gambling. The new bill would creat a Casino Control Commission to oversight into the daily fantasy sports industry as well as e-gaming sites in the state.
