New controversies surrounding Wynn Resorts
Allegations against Steve Wynn keep appearing as the company tries to recover from the controversy.
US.- As Wynn Resorts tries to recover its financial status and company’s international image after sexual accusations against the former CEO and founder of the business, new allegations against Steve Wynn keep appearing. Meanwhile, the company is hurrying to implement an agreement with the former CEO to end all relationships.
One of the two new accusations states that a “women reportedly accused Wynn of raping her several times, with one child resulting from the alleged acts; the other woman said she had to resign from her job – at a casino under Mr Wynn – after refusing to have sexual relations with him following the end of a consensual sexual relationship between the two.”
Steve Wynn, former Chairman and CEO of American casino company Wynn Resorts, resigned from his positions a few weeks ago following sexual abuse allegations against him. Now the company has announced that they have arrived at an agreement to cover Wynn’s departure. Wynn may not sell during any quarter after the date of such agreement more than one-third of the company shares he holds as of the date of such agreement.
The agreement also establishes that Wynn will provide reasonable assistance “in connection with any private litigation or arbitration and to the board of directors of the company or any committee of the board in connection with any investigation” related to his service.
