US.- Great Canadian Gaming Corporation has been forced to shut Casino Nova Scotia Sydney due to Covid-19 countermeasures. The news comes shortly after the company closed its other casino in the province, Casino Nova Scotia Halifax.
The Canadian casino operator oversees 26 casinos in the country, with franchises in Nova Scotia, British Columbia, Ontario, and New Brunswick. The latter now remains the only active property, operating at a capacity of 50 players.
After reopening in January, Casino Nova Scotia Halifax had to suspend activities again for an undetermined time on April 22. All casinos in British Columbia were ordered to close in March under the provincial government’s stay-at-home order.
