Gray Wolf Peak Casino close to its opening

The casino will open its doors tomorrow, after more than a year of renovations.

US.- The casino owned by the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes will experience its grand opening tomorrow November 1. The new 34.000 square feet casino will remain on the 5.2 acre property where the previous Gray Wolf Peak Casino offered its services.

“We believe we’re gonna be the premiere gaming destination in this area. So we invite everybody to come out and see us, and enjoy the new Gray Wolf Casino,” said Bryan Miller, CEO of S&K Gaming. The company said that they’ve scaled it back from the concerns they initially had from the elders and the community that did not want such a big, extravagant deal.

The new casino will include a 120-seat restaurant, lounge and outdoor patio, and it will feature more than 300 machines. According to tribal officials, they hired 100 employees to the 28 that worked at the previous facility. The expanded casino will be the largest in Western Montana, and over 96 percent of the contractors who worked on the building are from the state.

The plan to expand casino in Evaro was announced in 2014 and it’s part of the expansion of S&K Gaming, the company that oversees gaming management for the tribes on the Flathead Indian Reservation.
