Gibraltar seeks new Director of Licensing and Regulation
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of “Director of Licensing and Regulation,” of the Gambling Division, Ministry of Financial Services and Gaming.
Gibraltar.- The Government of Gibraltar has confirmed that it’s currently seeking to interview candidates for the position, who will report directly to its Ministry of Financial Services and Gaming. The aspiring and role suitable candidates can apply until October 21, date set by the Ministry of Financial Services and Gaming.
Gibraltar has an exemplary record in the transposition of EU directives on financial services and is party to a number of Tax Information Exchange Agreements and equivalent arrangements. In 2014 Gibraltar was rated ‘Largely Compliant’ in the OECD Global Forum Phase 2 Review. The UK, Germany and USA received the same rating. In 2015 Gibraltar achieved another positive rating by the OECD in Gibraltar’s Confidentiality and Data Safeguards assessment.
