The company has named a new interactive managing director to assess opportunities in Europe.

Malta.- Genting Casino has announced that Betsson group marketing director Jeremy Taylor is set to become the new managing director of its Malta-based iGaming subsidiary. The executive is expected to lead a company expansion.

The company said that Taylor has been hired to lead an expansion of online casino and sports betting operations across the European market from a new office in Malta. Genting Casinos UK is the biggest operator in the country and is currently trying to further expand its businesses. Genting’s affiliate team will migrate to Malta as well and oversee the management of Genting Affiliates.

Mark Sergeant, group managing director of Genting Casinos UK, said in a statement: “We have seen the incremental value generated through our online casino and sportsbook brands and are now ready to push forward into the next phase of our evolutionary growth. As retail casino experts, we needed a heavyweight online and mobile gaming executive to lead the interactive business. Jeremy is the ideal man for the job and we’re looking forward to seeing the business grow under his leadership from our new Maltese base.”
