France finalised an online poker liquidity sharing deal

The deal was made to help boost France’s declining online gambling industry.

France.- The European country’s revenues have been on the downfall in the past few years, but “Projet de loi pour une République numérique”, known as digital bill, hopes to bring more gambling revenue to the country.

Since it was first legalised, poker players in France were only able to play against each other or against those who were visiting the region. Now, french players can join online poker games on licensed sites against players located in other European countries and jurisdictions, and the country will begin sharing revenues with other European nations.

The President of France, François Hollande will sign the bill within 15 days. The bill also focuses on gambling addiction, and the country will take new measures to fight the problem. By signing this bill, eSports will also be regulated by the government. There are currently no indications suggesting that Hollande would not sign the bill.
