Casino de Monte-Carlo introduces digital roulette
Casino de Monte-Carlo has introduced digital French roulette terminals in a bid to engage younger players with the game.
Monaco.- Casino de Monte-Carlo has introduced several digital French roulette terminals situated next to regular, real-money roulette tables.
The aim is to allow players to see the action at the traditional tables but place their bets electronically.
Using touchscreen technology, players can bet as little as €1 on both French roulette and other live European Roulette games nearby.
The introduction of the machines is an effort to engage younger players as well as to bring more bettors to the traditional tables.
Boris Donskoff, director of the casino, said: “A player who would be intimidated to sit at a roulette table can enjoy the experience a few meters away, in front of a screen, betting with tickets. He learns, he watches. And the purpose of this specific offer is to one day bring him to the table.”
