C2 Nicosia opens its doors in Cyprus
The opening of Cyprus Casino Nicosia follows the opening of the first temporary casino in Limassol.
Cyprus.- Cyprus Casinos Nicosia (C2 Nicosia) has opened its doors to the public on Tuesday. The facility is the first authorised to open in the capital and the first to do so since the launch of the temporary casino in Limassol in June 2018.
Craig Ballantyne, Property President of City of Dreams Mediterranean and Cyprus Casinos, said that C2 will significantly contribute to the efforts of the local government to fight illegal gaming and that he was pleased to see the new addition to the C2 portfolio.
The property president added that over 100 people have been employed at the location in Nicosia, bringing the total number of Melco staff in Cyprus to over 700 individuals, the vast majority being Cypriot citizens.
The facility features 50 slot machines and five live tables at its 970 m2, and features a restaurant and a bar. Its interior design is similar to the one in C2 Limassol, and it is open from Monday to Friday from 3 pm to 6 am and 24 hours on the weekends, holiday season and public holidays.
