Bet365 CEO is the UK’s highest earner

Denise Coates, CEO of gambling company Bet365, earned £421m in 2020.

UK.- Denise Coates, the boss of the gambling giant Bet365, is again the highest-earning CEO in the UK, picking up £421 million in salary and dividends in 2020.

According to the Daily Mail, the total is the highest in British corporate history and the equivalent of £1.3m per day, or £54,000 an hour. It’s also an increase of 45 per cent on the previous year.

Coates salary towers over that of US tycoons such as Apple’s Tim Cook and JP Morgan’s Jamie Dimon (£98m and £23m respectively).

Coates owns Bet365 with brother John Coates and father Peter.
