American Gaming Association hires Andrew Ortale as vice president of industry and services
The executive brings more than 15 years experience as a meetings and convention professional to the AGA, most recently having served as the executive vice president of National Trade Productions.
US.- The American Gaming Association (AGA) reported that Andrew Ortale is the new vice president of industry services. Ortale will oversee the evolution of AGA’s Global Gaming Expo (G2E) portfolio of events and develop new programs for the premier national trade group, which represents the US$240 billion casino industry that supports 1.7 million jobs in 40 states.
Geoff Freeman, AGA president and CEO explained: “Andrew’s addition to the AGA team demonstrates our commitment to enhancing G2E and other AGA events. Facilitating meaningful business transactions, providing top-notch content and creating opportunities to strengthen relationships through face-to-face meetings are critical skills that Andrew will leverage for AGA.”
Ortale added: “AGA is undergoing dynamic change and expansion. I am eager to strengthen the value of AGA membership and G2E participation to drive innovation and make the world’s leading gaming trade show even stronger.” The new vice president is also actively engaged with professional trade associations, including the Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR), Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) both as a member of the national board of directors and the immediate past chair of the Washington, D.C. Chapter.
