Okada Manila opening delayed
The grand opening has been pushed back to the end of March.
Philippines.- Okada Manila, the upcoming Philippines casino that was supposed to officially open its doors to the public on February 17, announced that they pushed the date to the end of March.
“Since that time the construction focus has been on the VIP casino floors, restaurants, world-class fountains and other facilities in preparation for the grand opening, we hereby announce that we have now reached the stage wherein we are targeting to hold the grand opening at the end of March 2017,” said Okada Manila in a statement. The newest casino held a soft opening on December 20.
Okada Manila will feature a casino floor with 500 gaming tables and more than 3,000 slots machines. it will be the largest integrated resort to open doors in the Philippines. Officials expect the casino to be profitable in the first year of operations, whilst they anticipate that the initial investment will be returned in three to five years. More than 8000 permanent employment positions were offered to operate the facility.
