Ohio casinos increase revenue in September
The casinos and racinos in the state totalled US$152.2 million in revenues last month.
US.- According to official numbers released by the state gaming regulator, Ohio casinos and racinos reached the US$152.2 million mark in revenues during last month’s operations, which represents a 4% increase when compared to the same period in 2017.
The seven slots-only racinos totalled US$85.7 million in revenue this year, an 8.1% increase, which puts them in a position as one of the lead contributors to Ohio’s economic growth in the last few months. The four casinos experienced a 0.9% year-on-year decrease to US$66.5 million.
Hard Rock Rocksino has totalled US$193 million this year after paid winnings, while Hollywood Casino Columbus experienced revenue of US$1702 million. the second highest of the state, and closely followed by Hollywood Casino Toledo’s US$152.9 million and Jack Casino Cleveland’s US$152.1 million.
