Mybet.com expands to Ghana with football deal
Mybet is stepping strongly in Europe, specially in Germany, whilst it is targeting further markets.
Ghana.- West African football team, Sekondi Hasaacas, announced last Saturday a new partnership with European operator mybet.com. Sports betting services will be offered in the country through provider’s website and Sekondi Hasaacas’ fans will experience virtual gambling on their team.
“It’s a great deal and I’m very happy. Mybet.com will offer our club a lot, and they want both of us to start from humble beginning and grow together. I would not want to dive deep into what is in the package but yes there is a cash component and technical cooperation and it encompasses a whole lot as far as football is concerned,” commented Nana Banyin Eyison, CEO of Sekondi Hasaacas FC.
The deal covers marketing relationships, as the European brand will appear in several platforms of the team, as well as social and commercial initiatives in the country’s fourth largest city, Sekondi-Takoradi. The partnership can be renewed season by season.
