The Dutch gambling regulator KSA has now issued 14 online gambling licences.

The Netherlands.- De Kansspelautoriteit, the Dutch gambling regulator, has issued another two online gambling licences, taking the total number of licences issued for the Netherlands’ new regulated gambling market to 14.

The latest licences went to JOI Gaming, which belongs to Dutch land-based casino operator JVH Gaming & Entertainment Group.

The operator had already gained one Dutch online gambling licence in November, which it is currently using for its Jacks.nl domain.

The new licences were issued to JOI I Limited and JOI II Limited. The KSA said it is not yet sure which domain names the two licensees will use.

JOI Gaming owns the brands Jack’s, Jack’s Casino, Jack’s Casino & Sports and Jack’s Sports brand names. Its sportsbook is powered by Kambi.

Meanwhile, JOI Gamings’ owner JVH has 85 land-based casinos in the Netherlands, which it operates under the brands Jack’s Casino, Flash Casinos and Flamingo Casino.

The Netherlands launched its regulated online gambling market on October 2 with 10 initial licensees. JOI Gaming became the 11th licensee in November and was followed by Belgium’s historic Casino de Spa, which gained an online gambling licence from the KSA last week.

The regulator is expected to issue more licences in the next two months.

Earlier this week, it issued warnings to existing licensees over advertising being seen by minors after it founds gambling ads on a Donald Duck website. The regulator has ordered operators to improve the targeting of online advertising.

Meanwhile, politicians are calling for a ban on untargeted gambling ads in the Netherlands.
