The Netherland.- The Dutch gambling regulator Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) has issued its 11th online gambling licence. The licence goes to JOI Gaming, a division of the land-based casino operator JVH Gaming & Entertainment Group. JOI Gaming will operate online gambling at Jacks.nl.

JOI Gaming is part of the new online gaming trade association Vergunde Nederlandse Online Kansspelaanbieders (VNLOK) which has launched a voluntary code of conduct for advertising along with VAN Kansspelen.

JVH has a network of 85 land-based casinos in the Netherlands, under the Jack’s Casino, Flash Casino and Flamingo Casino brands. It also owns the brands Jack’s Casino & Sports and Jack’s Sports with its sportsbook being powered by Kambi.

The igaming licence came into effect on November 20 and is the 11th to be issued by the KSA, which granted licences to 10 operators ahead of the opening of the Netherlands’ regulated online gambling market at the start of October. KSA chairman René Jansen had said he expects more licences to be granted by April next year.

Several major operators, including Entain, Kindred Group, 888 and LeoVegas, have since blocked Dutch players from their offerings due to the Netherland’s decision to take legal action against any operators that fail to do so.
