US.- Hard Rock International has announced the return of its annual “Pinktober campaign” to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Throughout October, Hard Rock hotels, cafes, casinos and Rock Shops will participate in fundraising efforts supporting the Hard Rock Heals Foundation, with proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society and local charities.

Hard Rock Hotels will host concerts. With Gibson, it has created Pinktober custom-designed guitars. Visitors can also nominate fighters, survivors, and caregivers, and each week, a winner will receive a $5,000 donation to the American Cancer Society in their name, a four-night all-inclusive stay for two in Punta Canta, Vallarta, Cancun, Riviera Maya or Los Cabos and a personal coaching session with “wellness guru” Samantha Harris.

Pinktober raised over $1m for breast cancer awareness and research last year. That was the largest amount Hard Rock has raised since the program’s inception in 2000.

Jim Allen, chairman of Hard Rock International, said: “Hard Rock is proud to unite globally for the 24th Pinktober campaign and create philanthropic activations that support organizations that benefit survivors, thrives, and those impacted by breast cancer.”
