“G2E will include never-before-seen releases”

(Exclusive interview).- Eduardo Aching, VP, International Sales at Konami, told Focus Gaming News that never-before-seen technology will be unveiled at G2E.

Konami Gaming will be one of the main characters during this year’s G2E show in Las Vegas. Global Gaming Expo, which will be carried out from October 2 to 5 in the United State’s gaming hub Las Vegas, will be the perfect opportunity to experience Konami’s latest products, as Eduardo Aching, Vice President, International Sales at Konami, told Focus Gaming News. 

How is Konami preparing for this year’s edition of G2E Las Vegas?

Last year at G2E 2016, Konami showcased the premiere of its Concerto Collection of game cabinets. Based on the popularity of the original upright machine, Concerto Slant, Concerto Stack, and Concerto Crescent have all begun to reach players across the globe. Earlier this year, Konami introduced the Concerto Slant in the Peruvian market. How does the company assess the Latin American market?

Even though it is a competitive market, Concerto continues to gain more and more space in casinos throughout Latin America. From Mexico to Argentina, operators are very happy with Concerto’s exceptional results for their business. The performance remains strong and we really see how Konami’s newest games are exceeding expectations for our customers across Latin America.

What are the top 3 things that guests should plan to see during G2E?

Many guests from last year’s G2E show remember Konami’s Fortune Cup mechanical horse racing game. It will not be at the Konami’s 2017 booth, but rather it will be featured at two debut locations on the Las Vegas Strip—The Venetian and MGM Grand. Both are hosting the first casino installations of Fortune Cup, which guests should definitely plan to see during their trip.
