Francesco Rodano is Playtech’s new Chief Policy Officer
Playtech announced Francesco Rodano was appointed as the company’s new Chief Policy Officer.
UK.- Francesco Rodano was appointed as Playtech’s Chief Policy Officer, announced the company. Rodano left the Italian gaming regulator, Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli (AAMS), to join the online gambling operator.
Rodano, will work from the London-based office, reporting directly to Mor Weizer, Playtech’s CEO. Weizer said that Rodano’s vast experience and personal qualities, give him all the chances of becoming an important figure on the online gambling scene. The CEO believes Rodano will become an invaluable asset for Playtech.
Mongst Rodano’s responsibilities is to provide Playtech with accurate information about the legislative hurdles they are likely to encounter in the different countries, developing and maintaining ongoing relationships with the legislative bodies in these countries, finding new customers and strengthening the relations with the existing stakeholders.
Rodano said that he was happy to be on the other side of the fence after spending the last nine years working as a regulator, adding that currently, the regulated markets were of paramount priority and that he was impatient to join the talented management team of Playtech and provide his support in terms of public policy matters.
