Caesars expects to spend $500m on new Virginia casino
Caesars Entertainment expects to break ground next year.
US.- Caesars Entertainment has announced that it expects to spend $500m on a new resort in Danville, Virginia. It will feature 500 hotel rooms, a state-of-the-art casino floor, a Caesars Sportsbook, World Series of Poker Room, plus restaurant and entertainment offerings.
Anthony Carano, president and chief operating officer of Caesars Entertainment, said: “Caesars Virginia will be an economic driver for the region, both as a tourist and entertainment draw and through the more than a thousand good-paying jobs the resort will create.”
He added: “The people of Danville have entrusted us to build a world-class resort, and we look forward to proving that trust was well founded with an incredible resort worthy of the iconic Caesars brand.”
Danville Mayor Alonzo Jones, said: “This is a milestone moment, there is great anticipation and excitement here.”
