The 13 opened its doors

The facility opened its doors on Friday, but only for “private bookings” at the time.

Macau.- The operator of The 13, South Shore Holdings Limited, confirmed that the facility opened its doors on Friday, August 31, but only for “private bookings”. The facility was scheduled to open on July 1, 2016, but then faced multiple delays.

The venue’s promoter told the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that it isn’t possible to make a room reservation through the official website or via telephone. Moreover, it was also not possible to book tables at one of the venue’s restaurants through those channels. Walk-in guests were also not allowed to enter the property on Friday.

“The 13 is open now in a sense that only guests who have already made a private booking can go in… including [to] restaurants and other facilities; no walk-in guests are allowed at the moment,” said a spokesperson for the facility, as GGRAsia informed. The official did not provide a date for when the website would allow people to book a room or for when the facility would be open to walk-in guests.
