Svenska Spel makes executive changes

The state-owned company from Sweden has appointed a new sustainability manager.

Sweden.- Swedish gambling company Svenska Spel has announced the appointment of a new sustainability manager. The state-owned operator said that Scarlett Roa will start her new position on October 1st.

Roa, who will be in charge of the group’s sustainability and gaming responsibilities, has law and environmental issues experience, as well as innovation design and communication. She is set to replace Zenita Strandänger, who left the company this year, and will answer to communication and sustainability director Joakim Mörnefält.

“I look forward to working with the employees at Svenska Spel to continue to develop the group’s gaming responsibility work and to lead the way in sustainability, including business ethics and anti-corruption issues, as well as gender equality and diversity,” she said.
