Station Casinos announces expansion
The gaming company will expand its Northern Nevada entertainment venue.
US.- Las Vegas gaming company Station Casinos shared its plans on investing on its Northern Nevada property, 10 years after acquiring it. Gaming authorities in Nevada would grant Station Casinos the license to operate another gaming and entertaining centre in the state.
The new casino would have 84,000 square feet for gaming and entertainment, a 24-hour bistro-style cafe with outdoor dining and two quick-serve outlets as well as a state-of-the-art sportsbook and sports bar with large-format LED screens and mobile wagering kiosks.
Station Casino proposed an initial investment of US$50 million to US$70 million in the gaming venue, which will be located near the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. The casino will provide 350 construction jobs and 200 direct jobs at the property. “We are extremely excited about the Reno market and look forward to working with the city and state to secure the approvals necessary to build a high-quality gaming facility,” stated Lori Nelson, a spokeswoman for Station Casinos.
