Resorts World Casino NYC unveils expansion

The casino located in New York added more than 300 video lottery terminals to its gaming offering.

US.- Resorts World Casino New York (RWNY) has unveiled its latest gaming expansion on its third floor, where an additional 336 video lottery terminals (VLTs) and Electronic Gaming Tables (EGTs) have been added.

The third floor called Central Park is set to be used for events, concerts and trade shows even if the gaming space has been added to the same level. After yesterday’s announcement, the casino features more than 6000 VLTs and ETGs.

Scott Molina, President of Resorts World Casino New York City, said: “We are thrilled to unveil the new Central Park Casino that will provide patrons with an integrated gaming and special event experience all on one floor. The addition of these new games allows us to continue to fulfill our commitments to our partners throughout the state, and most importantly, generate additional revenue for New York State’s Lottery Education Fund.”

This is 2017’s second expansion for RWNY as it also unveiled a US$400 million project in July that included a new 400 room four star hotel, four dinings outlets, several retail offerings, new space to accommodate further gaming expansions and a new arrival experience for guests.
