Paradise Co revenue grows 23 pct in 2019

South Korean casino operator Paradise Co saw revenue grow 23.4% during 2019 after reaching €602 million for the full calendar year.

South Korea.- 2020 is already underway and it’s time for companies to review their operations for the previous year. That’s why South Korea casino operator Paradise Co reported an increase in revenue for the calendar year.

The company reported a 23.4% improvement in its operations after reaching €602 million in the last 12 months. Such increase was mainly due to a major casino revenue improvement from Paradise City, which was up 51.2%.

In all its properties (including Walker Hill, Busan, and Jeju Grand), Paradise Co revenue saw key growth. For instance, table games revenue jumped 24.7% year-on-year, while slot revenue rose 5%.

Previous months’ figures

During November, foreigner-only casino operator Paradise Co showed a major improvement in sales. The company disclosed its financial figures, which showed the vertical jumped 31.6%, mostly driven by table games.

Total sales were €50.87 million, way better than the €38.6 million from November 2018. Nonetheless, the figure was still down 16.5% from October 2019.

Operator Paradise Co posted gaming gross revenue (GGR) of €62.4 million during October 2019. The amount is 15.4% higher than the same month in 2018, €54 million, and 11% than September’s.
