Navegante Group leaves Hooters casino
The gaming venue in Las Vegas has perceived four years of increment in its revenue.
US.- Navegante Group announced yesterday that the company will no longer maintain its role as Hooters casino operator in Las Vegas. Although the CEO of the gaming brand, Larry D. Woolf, released a statement, Navegante did not explain the fully decision.
“Navegante Group is proud that its management of Hooters’ casino operations helped position the casino for the new owners to find a long term lessee. We took over under difficult circumstances, ensured continuity and implemented improvements on the casino floor while maintaining high employee morale and engagement. We look forward to monitoring Hooters’ continued success,” commented Larry D. Woolf.
Navegante Group took over the management of Hooters’ casino operations in March 2012. The contract was set for a six-month stewardship of the property’s gaming operations until the capital group found a buyer, which they did in May 2015. During its operations, Navegante Group appointed a very well-known and respected gaming executive, Mark Sterbens, as the general manager of all gaming operations. Their work at Hooters casino normalised the gaming operations, optimised the casino management and accounting systems and developed new casino marketing initiatives including launching a new tiered players club and direct marketing programs. As a result, the Las Vegas casino perceived a four year steadily increment in its revenues.
