Napoleons to open new UK casino despite pandemic
The group plans to open the £8million Manchester venue next month.
UK.- Although casinos in England remain closed until at least August 15 following the government u-turn on reopenings, A&S Leisure Group has announced it will open its sixth casino and restaurant property in September.
The £8million venue is located in Manchester city centre, with a casino, restaurant and bar. The operator said the casino would create 120 jobs.
Opening 24 hours a day, it will offer table games including American Roulette, Blackjack, Three-card Poker and Baccarat, plus Mahjong and Poker. It will also host electronic Roulette and slots.
With interior design from Chapman Taylor, the venue will have a private dining room and a restaurant overlooking the gaming area.
Mark Allen, Chief Executive at The A&S Leisure Group, said: “This is a very exciting time for the company and we are eager to show Manchester what Napoleons is all about.
“Our key focus for the business, first and foremost, will be on our personalised service to the customer, something that we are very proud of.”
A&S already runs Napoleons Casinos in Sheffield, Leeds, Bradford and Hull. Debbie Phillips, formerly a General Manager at Genting, will manage the casino.
