Matteo Dimatteo: “To expand to the fullest it is necessary to learn about the reference market”

Matteo Dimatteo, Owner of Mondogaming, software provider for sportsbook platforms, spoke with Focus Gaming News about the company’s plans for next year, the new markets to explore and the challenges.

Exclusive interview.- As 2021 ends and 2022 approaches, balances and expectations are shared. Focus Gaming News talked to Matteo Dimatteo, Owner of Mondogaming, a software provider for sportsbook platforms, already present in Africa, South America and Europe and is in continuous growth. Dimatteo shared his thoughts on the markets to explore for next year, the Mondocoin exchange portal and how they could grow even during the pandemic. 

What were the main innovations presented in the year regarding your sports betting software?

The main innovations undoubtedly presented are the provision of new technologies, with advanced security systems that guarantee our customers and end users, personalization of risk management with technologies for tracking the game flow, through which a B2C can with a little effort have great control of his business

Which solution is most in demand: white label, turnkey or half-way? Does the customer profile vary according to each of them? 

Certainly, the most requested solution is the White Label based on the requests that we receive, we make different ones with different profiles.

In line with your expansion plan in South America: In which countries does the company participate? In which ones did it land on this year? And in which ones is it going to set foot in 2022?  

We have plans to participate in gaming fairs all over the world, in Latin America we will be in Colombia, in Peru, and we also have goals in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico.

What do you think the main challenges to expand in South America and Europe will be?  

In order to expand to the fullest it is obviously necessary to learn about the reference market, what users are asking for, what type of platforms they are surfing on and consequently make the product customizable according to the needs of the market you want to conquer. I believe there is always a good job to do if you want to conquer new territory.

And for the launch and positioning of the Mondocoin exchange portal? 

The launch of the portal, if all goes according to plan, is scheduled for February / March 2022, we are working to integrate our crypto wallet which will be integrated on our sportsbook platform and on all the platforms of our partners.

Do you think the ups and downs of the pandemic will impact your business? 

We feared a disaster with the pandemic, because unfortunately many sectors have been hit hard, but I can say that as regards the gaming sector, and I refer to online traffic, we have had an increase of at least 40 per cent of the game due to the closures of the terrestrial shops users have focused heavily on the online part, significantly increasing the flow.
