Kristof Fahy takes up Ladbrokes role
He expressed that his intention is to deploy the company “considerable expertise, skills and brand strength” in those places where their customers are most active.
UK.- Last October it was announced that Ladbrokes had appointed Kristof Fahy as chief marketing officer, now Fahy has taken up his position.
The new marketing officer will lead on all marketing activity across digital and retail and will also report to Ladbrokes CEO Jim Mullen, who expressed that “Kristof is a high quality addition” to the team “at a crucial time.”
Regarding his new position Fahy stated: “Ladbrokes has an extremely strong brand and I’m looking forward to building upon that strength with our marketing, advertising and sponsorship activity.[Ladbrokes CEO] Jim Mullen made marketing central to his strategy for Ladbrokes and we now have many opportunities across a variety of sports to showcase the passion that Ladbrokes brings to sport.”
Moreover Mullen added: “Our products are now better than or at least on a par with the best in the market and we need to get more recreational customers on board. Kristof has an excellent track record in this area and he has the expertise and the firepower to get the Ladbrokes brand seen in more places more often.”
